Credits: 1

Number of Weeks: 8

This introductory course offers visionary insights into the vital shift to a home-centered culture that churches are making today. Gain a profound understanding of why the family is the foundation of a vibrant church. Explore the specific roles that family and community members each have in creating a home-centered, church-supported ministry. Spiritual teachings coupled with current research are integral to the course content.

Study spiritual keys to cultivate faith in children and youth. The “pathway of the child’s soul,” including the stages of development according to the ascended masters, will be a foundational tool for work with families and youth. Included in the pathway are intergenerational and age-specific opportunities and resources that foster spiritual development.

Through readings, assignments and interactive forums you will come away with spiritual perspectives and practical tools that will help you create a home-centered culture that enriches communities.
