A sacrament is a sacred rite that has particular significance for a church or body of believers. This course presents an overview of the nine sacraments of Church Universal and Triumphant: Baptism, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage, Holy Orders, Alchemical Marriage, and Baptism with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. Students will learn about the historical origin of the sacraments as referenced in the Bible. They will gain insight into Church Universal and Triumphant’s sacraments as an initiation on the spiritual path, find out how they fit into the Church’s theology, and be taught how ministers prepare for and conduct them.
Included in this course is an overview of the Holy Orders of The Summit Lighthouse and Church Universal and Triumphant. Students will discover how membership in a Holy Order sponsored by an ascended master is an important practical avenue of service to help hold the balance for oneself, one’s community and the planet.
