PSYS 2201 Spiritual Psychology 2

Credits: 3

Number of Weeks: 17

Typically offered in: Spring

This course introduces students to the entire spectrum of the human consciousness from embodied evil to the soul’s inner bonding to the Higher Self.

Students will take an in-depth look at the not-self and the nature of evil people by reviewing case studies from Dr. Scott Peck’s book, People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil, as well as delve into the ascended masters’ teachings on the psychology of evil to understand how it manifests through the carnal mind and the ego.

Students will also study the concepts and apply the techniques of inner bonding as taught by the ascended masters and complemented by the book Healing Your Aloneness: Finding Love and Wholeness Through Your Inner Child by Erika J. Chopick and Margaret Paul.

This course has an emphasis on reading and engaging in transformative exercises. Students will also submit a midterm paper and sit for a final exam.

Students will be assessed on the following course assignments:

There are 17 units in this course, with Unit 9 designated as a break week. Students are expected to complete one unit per week.
